Recycling Information Session

On Wednesday, April 27, the Town of Holyrood held a Recycling Information Session at the Community Centre. To view the presentation, click here

Recycling

The Town of Holyrood is partnering with Holy Cross Elementary in Recycling 2011, All the Way to the Top! Our goal is to collect 200,000 containers in 2011. You can drop your containers off at Holy Cross or at the Town Depot.

The following items will be collected for the school:

• Tetra Paks
• Aluminum Drinking Cans
• Plastic Drinking Bottles
• Glass Beverage Bottles (liquor/wine bottles)

Curbside Recycling Updates

Beginning April 2011, the Town's Waste Management provider will collect paper products, cardboard and other recyclables at the roadside. A public information package is currently being developed and will be provided in time to launch this new venture.
