The 50+ & Wellness Program will sponsor a trip to the 50+ Club of Sunny Side on Monday June 3rd.  Any resident of Holyrood and surrounding area are welcome to come.  If interested  in going please call Agnus at 229-7685 or Paul at 727-1507 no later then Saturday May 25th


LITTER CHASE WEEK

The Holyrood Beautification Committe would like to invite residents to Litter Chase Week.  We ask people to collect garbage around the road sides next to your homes. Then On   Monday May 27th at 6:30 at the Festival Grounds,              NL Hydro will be sponsoring their annuel evening Litter Chase Blitz, followed by a BBQ with prize draws.

Bulk Garbage Pick Up

Bulk Garbage Clean up Day for Holyrood
is June 3rd. Please have all items placed at the roadside on this day.

 

Please be advised that clean up material will begin to be picked up on Monday, June 3rd at 7AM. Please ensure your bulk items are placed out BEFORE this time to ensure that items will be picked up. Ensure that metals are separated from all other bulk garbage. Keep in mind that it may take several days to collect bulk items from all residents. Collectors will not return for items put out after the advertised date. We ask for your cooperation and patience during this time.

 CONCEPTION BAY REGIONAL GAMES COMING TO HOLYROOD 

The 1st Annual Conception Bay Regional Games is coming to Holyrood. The games is comprised of 5 sports total: Basketball, Softball, Cross Country Skiing, Soccer, and Ball Hockey. This program is COMPLETELY FREE to all participants. If you are between the ages of 11 and 16 years (based on December 31) then check out our games brochure below by clicking on the link! The registration form is a part of the brochure so fill it out and pass it in to your Municipality by June 28th, 2013. For more information please contact Steve Martin at 229-7252.
