Twice a year the Town of Holyrood hosts major
event attractions.
SQUID FEST
During the last week in July the
Squid Fest
offers a large
variety of events that are exciting and enjoyed by people of all ages.
Throughout days of the week children may participate in everything from a
Teddy Bears Picnic to a Bicycle Rodeo. Other people may enjoy a relaxing
afternoon surrounded by local folk talent. Evenings offer exciting live
entertainment and dancing at the Beach Party.
CRYSTAL CARNIVAL
During the last weekend in February people of all ages enjoy the
Crystal Carnival. Past year children events have included sleigh/wagon
rides and Mr. Wizard. Pre-teen and teenage dances are held annually. Adult
dances and senior parties are also a great way to spend a few hours.
